At least 10 dead after man rammed truck into crowd in New Orleans
A man "hellbent on creating carnage" drove a pickup truck at high speed into a crowd of New Year revellers in New Orleans on Wednesday, killing at least 10 people and injuring more than 35. The FBI is to take over the investigation to probe a "possible, improvised explosive device," The Guardian’s Washington bureau chief David Smith told FRANCE 24, citing a FBI official.
