Pakistani stars Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi rose in the latest ICC ODI and Test Rankings. In the new rankings, the former skipper remains the top ODI hitter with 822 rating points, while opening batter Imam-ul-Haq drops from 11th to 12th with 666.
Fakhar Zaman remained in the Top 10 in ninth with 675 points. Shaheen rose three spots to fourth in the ODI bowling rankings. He scored 655 rating points in the first ODI against Australia for his bowling of 2/43 in 10 overs.
Despite leading Pakistan’s good performance with three wickets, Haris Rauf fell four places to 27th. Meanwhile, Naseem Shah stayed 69th with 436 points.
Despite missing Pakistan’s final two Tests against England, star batsman Babar rose to 17th in Test Batting Rankings. He, wicketkeeper batter Rizwan, and all-rounder Salman Ali Agha improved.
Rizwan rose two spots to 20th and Agha to 19th. Pakistan’s Test captain Shan Masood and his deputy Saud Shakeel fell two spots to 59th and ninth, respectively.
Shaheen, an all-format bowler, kept his 15th rank in the Test Bowling Rankings, while Noman Ali and Sajid Khan maintained their spots. Right-arm bowler Hasan Ali, who last played a Test this year, rose one spot to 35th.
