Spanish giants FC Barcelona have high hopes for the latest talented youth player coming out of the fabled La Masia academy.

His name is Lamine Yamal and he’s still only 15, but the left-footed starlet has represented Spain at U16 level and has drawn comparisons to the great man, Lionel Messi.

Yamal was born in 2007 and has been invited to train with the Barcelona first team. Via @barcaspaces / Twitter.

Yacine Lamal likes to cut in off the right-hand side onto his favoured left foot and is blessed with supreme dribbling and ball-carrying abilities.

Manager Xavi will be keen to slowly introduce Lamal to the rigours of first team football, but his is certainly a name we’ll be looking out for in the not-too-distant future.
