‘THERE IS NOTHING ON PAPER’ – RIVEIRO
Riveiro, who’s gradually finding his way into Pirates fans’ hearts, says he wasn’t given any mandate by the club.
“People [are] really hungry for the trophies, our fans really want to achieve something together with us this season,” Riveiro said on Marawa Sports Worldwide.
“We will try to satisfy all objectives and the wishes of our fans but there is nothing on paper that forces me to win whatever in order to continue [coaching Pirates] or not, not at all.”
In recent seasons, there have been rumours about the Orlando Pirates management interference in the coaching decisions. However, Riveiro says there’s no meddling in his coaching.
