Ireland and New Zealand have closed the gap on the Springboks after their shock loss to the Irish in Durban.

Ireland stunned the Springboks 25-24 in Durban to close the gap on the World Champions.

Meanwhile, arch-rivals New Zealand have also closed the gap on South Africa in the latest World Rankings.

Thankfully, the Springboks are still the ranked #1 in the World Rugby rankings However, the Irish and All Blacks have closed up the gap at the top.

SPRINGBOKS LOSE GROUND AS IRELAND AND NZ CLOSE THE GAP

The Springboks have lost some ground at the top of the World Rugby rankings.

In fact, SA’s dramatic 25-24 loss to Ireland in Durban and New Zealand’s 24-17 win over England have seen a shake up to the points tally of the world top three teams.
