Kaizer Chiefs talisman Khama Billiat has cracked the nod alongside former teammates at Mamelodi Sundowns in Percy Tau and Denis Onyango.
The CAF Team of the Decade is for the period between 2010 and 2020 where players around the African continent really stood out.

And the inclusion of Billiat, Tau and Onyango in the Team of the Decade stems from the fact that they lifted the CAF Champions League and CAF Super Cup trophies with Sundowns in 2016 and 2017 respectively.
The trio were instrumental in Sundowns going all the way to lifting their first ever continental titles.

WHEN ONYANGO BEAT BILLIAT TO CAF AWARD
In January 2017, Onyango beat Billiat to the African Player of the Year award (based in Africa) at the CAF awards held in Abuja Nigeria.

And perhaps that’s because of the role Onyango had played in helping Uganda become recognised by CAF as they named National Team of the Year.
In scooping the award, Onyango beat then teammate Billiat to the award as the Zimbabwean attacker who finished second.
