Newly-appointed AmaZulu head coach Romain Folz has already started the process of reshuffling his technical team.
The 32-year-old mentor joined Usuthu as Brandon Truter’s replacement on Saturday, and his appointment saw the return Ayanda Dlamini to the first team.
In a statement released on Saturday, AmaZulu said Dlamini would be Folz’s first assistant coach without mentioning the previous members of the technical team.
Now, AmaZulu have announced the departure of former Truter’s assistant Kamaal Sait as well as that of goalkeeper coach Johan Abselon.
There is no mention of Siyabonga Nomvethe who has been one of the club’s assistant coaches over the past few years.
Chances are that Nomvethe will stick around, at least for now, as Folz’s second assistant at AmaZulu.
