Bryanston, Parkview, Greenside power interruption rescheduled for 29 May
Residents in a few of Johannesburg's northern suburbs are being reminded of power interruptions on 29 May.

Due to necessary maintenance work on the Parkhurst substation, Parkview and Greenside residents will experience power interruptions next Thursday, 29 May.
Originally set for 24 February, the electricity supply interruption has been rescheduled and will run from 08:30 to 16:30.
City Power has confirmed that the outage is part of critical upgrades aimed at strengthening the electricity network and improving long-term supply stability in Johannesburg.
Residents are urged to treat all electrical connections as live during this time to ensure safety.
City Power has apologised for any inconvenience caused by the power interruptions.
A note for Bryanston customers
City Power has also asked Region B customers to be aware of essential maintenance work taking place at Bryanston substation on 29 May.
Initially scheduled for Tuesday 20th May, the public works have also been rescheduled for next Thursday.
The interruption will take place from 09h00 until 17h00 and will affect the following areas:
- 50 Colleraine
- Jukskei Drive
- Tugela Road
- Vaal Street
- Links Street
- River Club Sandton
“The power interruption in Bryanston is necessary to do essential maintenance work on our network which is part of our program of constantly striving to provide a better service,” City Power said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Eskom announced a planned 9-hour power outage for 10 areas in Katlehong earlier this week.
On Monday from 9:00 to 18:00, the utility conducted essential maintenance on its distribution network, causing power interruptions to residents in the following areas: Monise, Palime, Moseleki, Tsolo, Ramokonopi, Phooki, Mopeli, Motsamai, Hlahatsi, and Mokoena.
