DANNY K PROMISES NEW MUSIC!
In a TikTok video posted over the weekend, Danny K revealed that he was ready to make his music comeback.
The star last released a single in 2018 and a full-length album in 2013.
He said: “A lot of people have been asking for new music. It’s taken me a long time. But I started getting that itch and felt like I needed to put something out.
The singer added that he had finished recording a new song, which he claimed featured “an amazing sample from the eighties.”
“It needs some publishing clearance…I’m trying to get it out for summer”, he added.
In 2000, Danny K burst onto the music scene with the release of his debut single, Hurt So Bad.
The song, as well as the music video featuring the baby-faced singer, catapulted him into stardom.
Hurt So Bad featured the backup vocals of another R&B star, TK Mhinga, who died of a suspected drug overdose in 2006.
FROM BILLBOARDS TO BUSINESSMAN
Despite his successful, SAMA-winning music career, Danny K has taken a different path in recent years.
According to BusinessLive, the star opened his sweet and confectionary company, KD Foods, in 2015.
In 2022, his company bought Sweets From Heaven from liquidation.
