Europe in diplomatic push for Ukraine as Zelensky arrives in Berlin
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Berlin on Wednesday to join European leaders in a video conference with US President Donald Trump ahead of Trump’s meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Friday. Zelensky said that pressure must be exerted on Russia to end the Ukraine war, adding in a social media statement that there were “no signs” that Moscow was preparing to end the conflict.
