Europe leads calls for ‘immediate’ end to fighting in Sudan as war enters third year
Europe on Tuesday led calls for an “immediate” end to the brutal civil war in Sudan as the conflict entered its third year. More than €800 million was also pledged in humanitarian aid. The United Nations has described the conflict as the world’s worst hunger and displacement crises.
