‘Exercising the lungs’: Mark Pilgrim overcomes setback with a smile
Mark Pilgrim has been lauded for his 'fighting spirit' after bouncing back from his latest health setback - with a smile on his face!
After a dismal few weeks being bedridden and having his lungs collapse, Mark Pilgrim is back in the saddle – and smiling like nothing ever happened!
Whilst most people would be wallowing in their sorrows in a similar situation, the radio veteran continues to inspire his followers with his fighting spirit.
The Hot 102.7 presenter was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer earlier this year. He is currently undergoing intensive treatment.

MARK PILGRIM GIVES POSITIVE UPDATE
Mark Pilgrim – who beat stage three testicular cancer as a teen – revealed that was back on his feet again after being “man down” for the last few weeks.
In fact, the dad-of-two felt so good, he was even up for a brisk walk with his daughters.
He captioned his latest post: “Doing a 1km walk to exercise the lungs while the Pilgrimites exercise the dogs. Haven’t seen my girls in almost 3 weeks. I’m a happy daddy”.
And Mark was also back on the airwaves too. He shared in a post on Thursday 6 October: “Back in my happy place this morning!”.
Over the past few weeks, Mark was left bedridden after suffering a “crashed” immune system after months of intensive chemotherapy. He also had vast amounts of liquid drained from his collapsed lungs.
