Sahibzada Farhan, the opener of Pakistan, took the place of Batters in the ICC T20I ranking, following his impressive performance at the current ICC Men T20 World Cup 2026. Farhan rose by four positions to position three with 769 rating points. He is now behind England’s Phil Salt who goes at the second position and India’s Abhishek Sharma is at the top.
As Farhan rose, some batters of Pakistan had to and did fall. Opener Saim Ayub dropped to position 28, Babar Azam dropped to position 35 and captain, Salman Ali Agha dropped down six positions to join Babar. Left-handed batter Fakhar Zaman slipped to the 79 th and Hassan Nawaz moved to the 96 th.
Spinner Abrar Ahmed continued to hold second place in the ranking of bowlers, being placed after India Varun Chakaravarthy, and in third place was the captain of Afghanistan. Mohammad Nawaz retained position seven. It was young pacer, Salman Mirza, who impressed with his performance and he went up 9 places to 13th with 636 points. Shaheen Shah Afridi has lost four positions and became 23 rd, and Sufiyan Muqeem has lost positions and became 45 th. Shadab Khan has had a steady rise of nine positions in the list to a position of 63rd. Saim Ayub and Haris Rauf dropped to 68 th and 70 th respectively.
Captain Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe topped the rankings of all-rounders, and moved Saim Ayub down to the second place. The Hardik Pandya of India is in the third position. Mohammad Nawaz was now in fifth place, Shadab Khan climbed 22nd and Faheem Ashraf also improved.
