French foreign ministry says Rwanda fighters must leave DR Congo ‘immediately’
A French government spokesman on Thursday demanded the departure from DR Congo of Rwandan forces and Rwandan-backed M23 fighters from the east of the country. “The sovereignty and territorial integrity of DR Congo are not up for negotiation,” foreign ministry spokesman Christophe Lemoine said after Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot travelled to the region.
