Germany says far-right ideology behind record 40% rise in politically motivated crimes
German Interior Minster Alexander Dobrindt on Tuesday said that the number of politically motivated crimes in Germany – ranging from hate speech to acts of physical violence – reached a record high of 84,172 last year, almost half of them motivated by far-right ideology.
