‘I TRIED TO BE LIKE HIM’ – PRIMO

Primo says he grew up wanting to be a footballer like his father but after coming to terms with the fact that he may not be a great footballer like his father, Primo resorted to coaching.

“I grew up emulating my father, I mean, I wanted to be a football player because of him. He is someone I looked up to and I wanted to be just like him. Of all the kids he has, I think I’m the one who looks more like him… I smile like him, I’m as tall as him,” Primo told Sowetan.

He says he retired when he was 25 and his father encouraged him to coach young squad kids. This was until last year, 2021 when his content creation career started blooming.
