GIFT LINKS TO KAIZER CHIEFS?

According to the leading Amakhosi insider on X, Innocent Mkhabela, the Soweto giants are targeting the 26-year-old left-back Links. The Rustenberg-born star currently plays his football in Denmark for Aarhus. According to Transfermarkt, Links’ contract is ending in June 2026. Links could become the third signing from Europe since the January arrivals of Thabo Cele and Glody Lilope.

Kaizer Chiefs are expected to sign a left-back after the departures of Bongani Sam and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe. Meanwhile, Happy Mashiane is expected to leave the Glamour Boys in June, while Bradley Cross is expected to stay as an option.

Previous reports revealed that Kaizer Chiefs’ first target was Stellenbosch FC and Bafana Bafana star Fawaaz Basadien. The CAF Confederation Cup semifinalists rejected the offer after making enough transfer sales with Iqraam Rayners and Jayden Adams to Mamelodi Sundowns, as well as Deano Van Rooyen to Orlando Pirates.
