Louis Liebenberg: Incriminating clip of Zuma’s ‘sugar daddy’ resurfaces

It’s perhaps fair to say that Louis Liebenberg has had better weeks. Despite cementing himself as a trusted ally of the ANC’s RET faction, the man now known as ‘Jacob Zuma’s sugar daddy‘ has been left to battle a number of damning allegations.

Who is Louis Liebenberg? Diamond dealer, sugar daddy… racist?

The infamous diamond dealer was exposed over the weekend, after a clip of him going on a K-word infused rant was made public. The language used by Louis Liebenberg was disgusting – but he claims that the audio has been altered, and it’s not actually him on the other end.

Critics are having a hard time stomaching this story, mind. The tirade is a fairly tough listen. It’s 54 seconds of racial prejudice, directed towards the black population and BBBEE policies in general. After giving Zuma R500k for his legal fees last week, the rant seems all the more puzzling.

“We have been in the country longer than the k****rs , and suddenly BEE comes and now he gets everything free because he is a k****r. He’s a k****r because he was born that way – because he’s f**ked so much and now has 15 children.” | Louis Liebenberg

That’s not all: Jacob Zuma’s blesser exposed by Carte Blanche

With the tide turning against him, Mr. Liebenberg could have done with a bit of luck. Instead, the team at Carte Blanche decided to twist the knife. Using their platform on Twitter, the investigative reporters shared a very incriminating video they filmed back in April 2020.

It likely slipped under the carpet, due to it airing when South Africa went into an extreme version of lockdown. However, some 30 months later, it seems more prescient than ever. In the footage, Derek Watts asks Louis Liebenberg if his diamond deals are legal or illegal.

In a stunning admission, the uBaba bankroller admitted the answer was ‘both’ – and that he finds ways ‘to make the illegal stuff legal’…
