Pakistan cricket team batting coach Mohammad Yousuf resigned and submitted his resignation to the PCB. According to media sources, Yousuf has resigned as Under-19 cricket coach. The Under-19 team is slated to hire former cricketer Ghulam Ali as coach.
Before becoming batting coach, Mohammad Yousuf was on the national selection committee. Reports also stated that former national team bowler Wahab Riaz, a selection committee member, may be granted another crucial PCB post. He could manage champions trophy tournaments.
Wahab Riaz was Punjab’s Minister for Sports during the last caretaker administration and a selector and squad manager.
