One of those fun reasons might just be that the recipe has a funny name. Our old-school snickerdoodles recipe doubles-down on the fun with a classic recipe. They are crumbly and sweet, perfect for a tea-time snack or gift for grandma.
Old-school snickerdoodles tips
Snickerdoodles are all about the cracked crust on the outside and soft cookie on the inside. You can make them softer on the inside by having slightly bigger rolled balls or baking for less time, but that can affect the crust. If you’ve made pancakes or churros, you have the perfect balance for your cinnamon-sugar mix and you can give them an extra dusting as they’ve cooled.
