Pakistani shooters start Paris Olympics 2024 poorly

Pakistani shooters Kishmala Talat and Gulfam Joseph started the Paris Olympics 2024 poorly. Talat finished 22nd out of 33 shooters in the men’s 10-meter air pistol competition, failing to qualify for the final round with 571 out of 600 points. Kishmala placed 32 out of 44 in the women’s 10-metre air pistol contest. Just 567 points were hers. In six series, the shooter scored 93, 97, 94, 93, 95, and 95 points. After missing their category finals, the two competitors will compete in the mixed team shooting event on July 29.

Pakistan’s Paris Olympics caravan includes seven athletes and 11 officials. Besides Kishmala and Gulfam, Pakistan’s ambitious javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem, sprinter Faiqa Riaz, and swimmers Mohammad Ahmed Durrani and Jehanara Nabi will compete.
