Perfect lamb cutlets: Some beautiful cuts for a dinner party

When it comes to dinner parties, presentation is everything and lamb cutlets are often beautified for this reason. However, we have a special twist lined up for you. These perfect lamb cutlets are covered in breadcrumbs and fried to perfection. Lamb cutlets are very popular in French cooking and so is often great for a fancy dinner party, served with some beautiful vegetables and potatoes.

Perfect lamb cutlets tips

If you want to present these cutlets in the best way possible, you can clean the bones a bit, also known as Frenching. The breadcrumbs are a great addition but you can also add to it. Add some paprika or herbs for spice. Make a mint sauce which always goes well with lamb as it cuts through the richness. Serve your lamb cutlets with some roasted or mashed potatoes, and a light green salad.

Ingredients

  • 6 lamb cutlets

  • 125 g ham

  • dried breadcrumbs salt and black pepper

  • 1 egg

  • oil

  • dried breadcrumbs

Method

  • Chop up the ham very finely with sharp knife and mix with the dried breadcrumbs and season well.
  • Beat the egg and brush each cutlet and coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Fry in hot oil until golden brown
  • Serve with mashed potato and French salad.
