Former SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns star Siyanda Xulu is topping trends after purchasing a new truck after leaving SuperSport United.

Despite the news, photos of the star standing beside his truck have been making rounds on social media. The photos have gained thousands of comments and reactions since they were posted on Facebook.

SIYANDA XULU BUYS A NEW TRUCK

Taking it to Facebook, PSL’s latest news update was posted: “Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Siyanda Xulu has bought himself a truck. Xulu is currently a free agent after leaving SuperSport.”

The star could be seen looking at his new acquisition with his son. He bought a MAN truck. Mzansi has since given his purchase a nod. Fans and fellow footballers flooded his comments section with congratulatory messages.

However, with his purchase, Siyanda Xulu joins a host of footballers who have spread their wings to transport and logistics. Mamelodi Sundowns star Thembinkosi Lorch recently hogged headlines when it was reported that he had purchased a new truck.

Thembinkosi Lorch’s photos at a local truck dealership have been making rounds on social media. Former Sundowns star Rheece Evans is also into transport and logistics.

He co-owns Trans Modal Freight with his brother. The company has been winning big in recent years and confirmed reports have it that they secured a multimillion contract with Sasol.

CAREER

With an illustrious career spanning years, Siyanda Xulu has won big. During his formative years, he spent time in the Kaizer Chiefs academy before being released in 2009. However, he later joined Mamelodi Sundowns.

In 2010, Siyanda Xulu was under the Spanish giant’s watch and even offered some trials. However, after Barcelona’s failed trials, he had a two-week trial with Arsenal in September 2010, during which he also failed to do enough to win a contract.

Two years later, he signed a four-year contract with Russian Premier League side FC Rostov. However, Siyanda Zulu won the Russian Cup with Rostov in the 2013/2014 season.

In 2017, he joined Kaizer Chiefs. However, he later switched floors to Maritzburg United and was released by the club in the 2019/2020 season. Siyanda Xulu went on to join Israeli Premier League outfit Hapoel Tel Aviv.

However, in 2022, he joined Turan Tovuz. A year later, the club announced his departure after his contract expired. In 2023, SuperSport United announced the signing of Xulu to a two-year contract. However, he is currently a free agent.
