Orlando Pirates striker Zakhele Lepasa shared an inspiring short story following his involvement in Bafana Bafana’s win on Saturday.
The 25-year-old forward made his international debut on 2 June 2019 in a 2–2 draw with Botswana in the 2019 COSAFA Cup, but hasn’t been a regular in the yellow and green jersey in recent years.

But he was brilliant on his return to the national team as he provided two assists in their 4-0 win over Sierra Leone in the international friendly.
Lepasa brought his family to witness him living the dream of representing the country, a dream that his family “prayed” for.

“The best moment of my career,” he wrote on his Twitter account.
“This is the moment we all prayed for. My mother made me and my sister fall in love with this beautiful game.
“And today was the proudest moment of our football journey. We believed, mom, you prayed, you believed!
“God, thank you.”

Bafana Bafana will on Tuesday, 27 September take on neighbours Botswana in their second international friendly this FIFA break.
The match will take place at the FNB Stadium at 15:00.
