MEGHAN MARKLE LABELLED ‘NARCISSISTIC SOCIOPATH’
Valentine Low alleges that Meghan Markle was called a “narcissistic sociopath” by her aides. The aides allegedly called themselves “Sussex Survivors’ Club” after Meghan and her husband Prince Harry quit their royal duties in 2020.
Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind The Crown – a book by royal correspondent Valentine Low – describes the Sussexes’ deteriorating relationship with their staff. The staff is said to be a “succession of… decent people” who allegedly believed in Meghan and “would have done anything” to help the couple succeed.
However, the book alleges that the aides believed Meghan’s departure from the royal family was premeditated. One of the concerns was said to be “whether she was able to going to be able to make money for herself”.
“She wanted to be rejected because she was obsessed with that narrative from day one,” said an ex-staff member to the author.

The book claims that the staff were convinced the Duchess of Sussex wanted to show that the institution failed her.
Some believed that there was a cynical motive behind her decision to complain to HR bosses – who allegedly listened sympathetically but offered no help.
“This was inevitable: HR is there to deal with employee issues, not members of the Royal Family. Meghan would presumably have known that, so what was she doing there? Laying a trail of evidence, would be the cynical answer,” reads an extract from the book.
