Portugal's centre-left Seguro to face far-right rival Ventura in presidential runoff

Portugal’s Socialist candidate António José Seguro won the first round of the presidential election and will face far-right rival André Ventura in a runoff for the presidency, near-complete results showed on Sunday. With 95 percent of the vote counted, Seguro led with 30.6 percent, ahead of Ventura with 24.2 percent.
