1.Extreme high fire danger conditions expected over the north-eastern Northern Cape, North-West Province and northern part of the Free State.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the south-west, but very hot in th lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine, windy and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the west.
Free State:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thundershowers in the southern half. It will remain fine in the east.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers in the extreme northern parts from late morning into the early afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-westerly at first, becoming moderate to fresh north-westerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and cold to cool with a chance of morning light rain along the south coast into the evening.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-westerly but easterly to south-easterly along the south coast.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half –Cloudy and cool, with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered rain and showers along the coast and adjacent interior.
The Western half -Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly, becoming moderate to fresh south-easterly during the afternoon.
The Eastern half -Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the southwest.
The Eastern half -The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh south-easterly in the evening.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Fine and warm but hot in places in the north, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers in the south.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-east in the north, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.
