The Emthonjeni facility is a public facility that features a main pool and a kiddies’ pool, and opening hours are Friday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00.

Entry fees will remain affordable, with adults paying R9, children R3, and pensioners entering free of charge.

Indoor swimming pools also a priority

‘Our swimming pool operations … are among our most popular recreational facilities. Our Recreation and Parks Department is working to get as many facilities as possible summer ready.
