Puma is set to release the fashion collection which was created in collaboration with late hip-hop star, Riky Rick.

PUMA TO RELEASE FINAL COLLABORATION WITH RIKY RICK
In 2021, Riky Rick collaborated with Puma under his brand, Cotton Fest. This year, Puma will be releasing the final collection they designed with the rapper. The collection features a tracksuit top, football tops and soccer balls designed by Riky Rick.
“We are very privileged to be able to bring what turned out to be Riky’s final collection to the market. As with everything Riky did, he was hands-on with this collection and its Cotton Fest F.C aesthetic,” said Hayden Manuel, Puma South Africa’s Sportstyle Marketing Manager.
The late rapper’s wife, Bianca Naidoo and his brothers, Themba, Toby and Sheikani, worked on the marketing campaign for the collection.
“Building on Riky’s legacy to creating a platform for young creatives, our family fully endorse the campaign,” said Naidoo.
PUMA COMMITS TO BURSARY FOR AFDA STUDENT
Before becoming a local hip-hop star, Riky Rick completed an undergraduate qualification at AFDA. To commemorate the release of his final Puma collection, the brand has pledged R100 000 towards final year AFDA students to cover shortfalls on their fees.
“The arts were close to Riky’s heart and he was a former AFDA student, so we and Riky’s family agreed that supporting the students would be an appropriate way to honour his legacy,” said Manuel.
Bianca Naidoo expressed that the family was looking forward to giving back to students with the R100 000.
