Before the Spanish football team Real Madrid plays Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday, supporters of the latter team started to target Inter Miami player Lionel Messi.

Goal reported on a social media video that went viral showing a segment of Los Blancos supporters chanting abusively at the former Barcelona player and captain on the streets of Madrid.
“Lionel Messi, son of a b*tch,” were heard yelled by supporters of the team that Al Nassr player Cristiano Ronaldo has represented.
Though none of the football greats were participating in the game, this incident demonstrated how fierce the rivalry between the players and their supporters is today.
Before Real Madrid played Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final, the incident happened in reaction to recent provocation from opposing team supporters who had chanted “Messi, Messi” during a previous game.
Vinicius Jr.’s two goals helped the just crowned La Liga winners hold the Bavarian team to a 2-2 tie in the first leg in Munich.
Hosts Leroy Sane and Harry Kane were on target.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team will play Granada in La Liga on Saturday, following their home victory over the German titans.
