Prince William and his brother Prince Harry could walk side-by-side behind their grandmother Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin at her funeral, set to take place on Monday 19 September.

THE PRINCES REUNITE: FIRST PUBLIC APPEARANCE IN TWO YEARS

Prince William, his wife Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle reunited at Windsor after Queen Elizabeth II’s death on Thursday 8 September.

The two couples were dressed in black to symbolise their mourning. They came together to have a look at the growing banks of flowers left at the gates of Windsor Castle. This was the first time the two couples had been seen together in the last two years.

Prince William reportedly extended an “olive branch” by inviting Prince Harry and Meghan to join him and his wife on their walk.

COULD PRINCE WILLIAM AND PRINCE HARRY REUNITE ONCE AGAIN?

The Sun reports that Prince William and Prince Harry may walk side-to-side behind the Queen’s coffin at her funeral on Monday 19 September. Palace planners are said to be still putting the finishing touches on the arrangements for the royal family on the funeral day.

“We are certainly not in the same place as Philip’s funeral when William and Harry didn’t walk side by side. Things haven’t changed but it is not as intense and they can co-exist,” said an insider to the publication.

“But the flower visit really doesn’t change anything. It is the same situation as at Prince Philip’s funeral when William and Harry put their differences aside and supported each other and their families in that moment,” the insider continued.

The publication reports Meghan’s mom Doria Ragland is said to be travelling with the couple’s two children Archie and Lilibet to the UK before the funeral.
