On Sunday night, Pakistan defeated England in the fourth Twenty20 International, tying the seven-match home series. Several twists and turns in the game made it appear as if Pakistan would not win, but in the final two overs, when England needed only three more runs to win, the tide swung in favor of the Green Shirts. So, Shadab Khan, Pakistan’s vice-captain, commented on the nail-biter, saying that watching the game from the stands is more difficult than playing in it.

Shadab has been ruled ineligible for all four games. But he was at the stadium, cheering on his team. The teen all-rounder shared two photos from the victory celebration at Karachi’s National Stadium, congratulating the Men in Green on their hard-fought victory. He praised the team’s efforts, batter Asif Ali, pacer Mohammad Hasnain, spinner Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr, and pacer Haris Rauf’s performances.

“Watching the match from outside the field is tougher. My heart would have stopped. What a match it was,” the fan-favorite wrote.

Pacer Haris Rauf said in the post-match press conference as the player of the match that Shadab told him while the match went on that “people would get more heart attacks tonight.”
