Thai court removes PM Srettha Thavisin from office over cabinet appointment

Thailand's Constitutional Court on Wednesday removed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin from office over an ethics case. Srettha, who had been in power for less than a year, was accused by a group of former senators of breaching ethics rules by appointing a lawyer with a criminal conviction to his cabinet.
