Outspoken music executive Nota Baloyi is making headlines after finalising his divorce from his ex-wife, Berita Khumalo. Their divorce barely comes a year after media reports confirmed the two were heading for a splitsville.

Against the news in 2023, Berita also confirmed the news with the media. She made it known that their marriage was over and that a divorce was on the cards since they were legally married.
Speaking to the media, she said, “We were officially married. I believed he was the one for me. But it turned out I was wrong, and we are currently getting a divorce.”
She also made it known that she was not communicating with Nota. She said, “I know nothing about what is happening in his life. We do not talk and have not spoken for a long time. I will not be seeing him any time soon.”
With the divorce finalised, Nota Baloyi is trending after she took a swipe at his ex-wife with a cryptic X post. Responding to popular X user Shadhaya Knight, who also confirmed the news of their divorce, Nota shared a cryptic post that has since thrust him into top trends.
Nota posted, “The lesson is to make sure she leaves with nothing of yours & loses half of everything she gained… Another lesson is to marry in your class. Bringing someone up out of poverty is like going to bed with a snake that is starving itself to build up the appetite to swallow you whole.”
The post has gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped on the internet. Against the post, fans quickly flooded his comments section with their two cents.
