This $3.99 ALDI Find Is a Copycat of a $15 Williams Sonoma Product—It's "So Pretty!"
This ALDI cleaning tool doesn't just look great, it also makes cleaning tasks a bit more satisfying and less of a chore.
Confession time: I'm one of those who've fallen down the rabbit hole of ultra-satisfying cleaning videos on social media. I get a thrill out of watching a grimy stovetop magically transform into a gleaming surface and seeing cleaning supplies stored in aesthetically pleasing, eco-friendly containers.
They've reignited my enjoyment of cleaning, and now, rightly or wrongly, I prefer to use (quality) tools that give me a similarly satisfying experience. So when I saw ALDI’s Easy Home Luxury Cleaning Tools line, I was legitimately excited. I mean, if the glass, marble, blue, and bamboo aesthetic don't make you want to clean, I don't know what will. Everything is so pretty!
I was especially taken by the little soap-dispensing dish brush, which happens to be a dupe for this cute Williams Sonoma Bubble Up Dish Brush Set (minus the bowl).
Why I Prefer ALDI’s Soap Dispensing Dish Brush
The ALDI brush, with its sturdy bristles and bamboo handle, is practically a twin to its Williams Sonoma counterpart—minus the fancy ceramic base and the hefty price tag. While the Williams Sonoma version is undeniably chic, ALDI’s $3.99 price point makes it a no-brainer for my budget.
My favorite feature of the ALDI brush is in its name. With just a push of a button, it dispenses soap right where you need it. For $3.99, I can afford three ALDI brushes for the price of Williams Sonoma's: one for dishes, one for tackling everything else in my kitchen from stubborn stove top grime to the kitchen counters and sink, and another for backup. Honestly, the Williams Sonoma ceramic base would be an added stress when my toddler wants to "help" with the dishes anyway.
ALDI Is Offering a Chic Cleaning Tool Collection
ALDI’s luxury cleaning tool collection continues beyond the dish brush. From the heavy-duty scrub brush perfect for more demanding messes to the reusable glass spray bottles made for storing cleaning solutions in style, each piece in the line brings a touch of that #cleantok aesthetic to my everyday chores.
While some might see aesthetics as unnecessary, I value beauty in these everyday things. Having aesthetically pleasing tools makes mundane cleaning tasks feel calming and intentional. Instead of being frustrated at having to "clean all the time," which is no less true, I'm treating these tasks as acts of service to myself, from the small moments of joy to the larger satisfaction of a well-done job. This framing feels good.
If you also feel like doing service to yourself, toss a few of these brushes in your cart the next time you're at ALDI. Who knows? You might even enjoy those repetitive cleaning tasks. Or at least tolerate them with a bit more style.
