Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has included three Kaizer Chiefs players in his latest squad list.

South Africa are set to meet Uganda and South Sudan for two AFCON 2026 Qualifiers. The first game against Uganda will be at the Orlando Stadium on 6 September, before a trip to South Sudan on 10 September.

Looking at the preliminary list of 34 players before the final squad of 23, Kaizer Chiefs supporters are glad to see Bruce Bvuma, Given Msimango and Rushwin Dortley.

KAIZER CHIEFS SIGN INACIO MIGUEL

After assessing his new squad since July, Amakhosi’s Nabi is bringing in a second central defender in the 28-year-old Miguel from Petro de Luanda.

According to FARPost, Miguel, who was born in Portugal before acquiring Angolan citizenship, is on his way to Johannesburg to sign for the mighty Kaizer Chiefs. Miguel’s move to Amakhosi follows after his first season in Africa with Petro in 2021. His experience includes time in Portugal, Romania and Latvia.

According to the leading FARPost reporter Mthokozisi DubeAmakhosi have agreed on terms to sign the 28-year-old Miguel, thanks to his impressive run in the CAF Champions League and African Football League with Petro last season.

“Kaizer Chiefs have pulled off their most significant transfer coup yet, securing the services of Angolan international centre-back Inacio Miguel from Petro de Luanda,” Dube reported.

“The two clubs have finalised the transfer fee, and Inacio is expected to sign this week after agreeing to personal terms,” the report added.
