Any peace deal reached between Ukraine and Russia must not “reward the aggressor”, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer told a joint press conference in Washington alongside US President Donald Trump on Thursday, adding that history "must be on the side of the peacemaker, not the invader". Starmer also said the UK was “ready to put boots on the ground” to support a agreement in concert with allies.
