Yes, SA was named Africa’s “Most Desirable” country at the Wanderlust Travel Awards 2024, which took place late last year.

The 2025 edition of the travel awards will take place on 5 November at the National Gallery in England..

The nominations for this year’s awards have already been released, and South Africa features in African categories like Attraction, Hotels & Resorts, and Beach Destination.
