Former United States President Donald Trump has been shot in the ear during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday

The attempted assassination drew condemnation from leading Republicans and Democrats and is being investigated as an assassination attempt. The former president was shot in the upper part of his right ear while addressing the crowd. At least one spectator was killed and two others were critically wounded, according to reports.

US President Joe Biden has condemned the shooting. “The idea that there’s political violence or violence in America like this is just unheard of. It’s just not appropriate. And everybody, everybody must condemn it.”

Donald Trump was bashing Joe Biden before he was shot. He said during his time as president of the United States, the country recorded the lowest number of illegal immigrants.

“And then the worst president in the history of our country took over and looked at what happened to our country. Probably 20 million people,” Trump said.
