A Vodacom employee who was speaking to the man noticed the guns and tried to flee, the suspects followed her. The man who entered the store also tries to leave but is seemingly told to get on the ground by one of the suspects.

The video switches to a different camera angle and an employee and customer are seen on the ground. A few of the suspects assaulted one of the Vodacom employees. She is then picked up by the robbers and moved in another direction. IOL reports that she is moved to what is believed to be the back office of the store

The video then turns to the back office footage. The suspects are then seen filling a large bag with items. They then leave the store.
