What time is the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix on Sunday?

The 2025 Formula One season will feature 24 races, the seventh of which will take place in Italy this weekend.

The next battle is scheduled for the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as ‘Imola’ on Sunday, 18 May.

The lights will go out at 15:00 (SA time).

Heading into the 2025 season, Max Verstappen is the defending drivers’ champion – for a fourth consecutive year – while McLaren are the reigning constructors’ title winners.

The first race of the 2025 season in Melbourne, Australia was won by Lando Norris in his McLaren, while in China it was his team-mate Oscar Piastri who took victory.

In Japan, Verstappen showed his class in winning his first race of the season, while in Bahrain it was Piastri who became the first repeat winner of the season.

Piastri won for a third time in Saudi Arabia and followed that up with another win in Miami a fortnight ago.

After six races this season, Piastri leads the way with 131 points, ahead of Norris (115).

Verstappen is in third (99), ahead of Mercedes’ George Russell in fourth (93).

As a reminder, the 2024 Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix was won by Verstappen ahead of Norris with Charles Leclerc in a Ferrari in third.
