WhatsApp is celebrating the new year by launching a few new features which have been made official today. First off, we have camera effects - the same 30 backgrounds, filters and effects that launched for video calls last year can now transform your images too. Next up, you can turn a selfie into a sticker. This is pretty self-explanatory. You just tap Create sticker and you'll get the camera option to take a selfie on the spot and create your sticker.
