‘Wholesome content’: Real Madrid stars jam to amapiano hit!

Since 2019, amapiano has risen to become one of the world’s most popular genres of music. Artists like DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Focalistic and Uncle Waffles have all flown the flag high across the globe. Real Madrid footballers Karim Benzema, Vínicius Jr and Rodrygo de Goes were spotted vibing out to Young Stunna’s chart-topping hit, Adiwele while getting a haircut.

REAL MADRID STARS VIBE TO YOUNG STUNNA’S AMAPIANO HIT 

Taking to Twitter on Thursday 8 September, @WolfRMFC posted a video of Real Madrid stars Karim Benzema, Vincius Jr and Rodrygo de Goes all hanging out together in a hotel room. Víncius Jr and Goes were taking it easy while Frenchman Benzema was seated for a haircut. 

The trio were vibing to Young Stunna’s amapiano banger, Adiwele, which took Mzansi by storm in 2021. 

The Twitter user captioned the video: “Here’s some wholesome content of Real Madrid players.”

Reacting to the video clip, South Africans praised local amapiano artists for taking the genre to new heights. 

“South African product. Amapiano is a global trend. Big up Kabza De Small,” wrote one tweep. 

“My boys bumping Adiwele, no wonder they’re always winning,” wrote another tweep. 

“Piano is really doing the most out here…”

JESSE LINGARD IS A BIG FAN OF UNCLE WAFFLES 

The Real Madrid footballers are not the only soccer players who love the amapiano genre. On 25 July, former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard reposted a video of amapiano sensation Uncle Waffles and said he “needed” her at his birthday party. 

“Need Uncle Waffles at my birthday party for real for real,” he wrote.
