Orlando Pirates midfielder Miguel Timm has only made two appearances for the club this season. The exit was expected.

According to SABC Sport reporter, Mazola Molefe, Timm’s contract ends on June 30 and there are no plans for a renewal.

“SABC Sport can reveal that midfielder Miguel Timm will be a free agent at the end of the season with his Orlando Pirates exit imminent,” Molefe said.

“The public broadcaster has been informed Orlando Pirates will not be triggering the option to extend the player’s contract beyond June 30, and as such, rendering him available to possible suitors in the coming weeks.

“Orlando Pirates were in a similar position with Timm around this time last season, but announced the popular figure in the dressing would be staying on for at least one more year after putting pen to paper,” the report added.

The Durban-born star was a regular before the emergence of the exciting Thalente Mbatha from SuperSport United. The Sea Robbers have also welcomed back Goodman Mosele from a loan spell at Chippa United.
