ALDI Brought Back My Favorite St. Patrick's Day Find—It's Delicious
This ALDI find is just $3.99, and it's a container of pure joy. The flavor is subtle, not overpowering or artificial.

I’m a big fan of St. Patrick’s Day, mainly because I love, love, love the flavor of Irish cream. I love Irish cream liqueur in cocktails, but I like it in coffee and desserts the best.
That’s why I am so excited that ALDI’s Irish Crème whipped dairy topping is back in stores in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

What’s I Love About ALDI's Irish Crème Whipped Dairy Topping
Friendly Farms Irish Crème Whipped Dairy Topping is a 13-ounce canister of joy that only costs $3.99. I discovered this a few years back, and I bought it on a whim to top the Irish coffee I planned to make.
It tasted so, so good. The product consists of whipped cream lightly flavored like Bailey’s Irish Cream Liqueur but without any alcohol. Light and creamy, it smells of vanilla and toffee. The flavor is delicate, not overpowering.
My husband says it’s perfect for topping regular coffee. He used it recently to help motivate him during the basement remodeling project he’s working on. “I like it better than most flavored whipped creams,” he told me.
How I Use ALDI's Irish Crème Whipped Dairy Topping
This whipped topping is absolutely perfect atop an Irish coffee cocktail. I make my Irish coffee with strong, hot, black coffee, 1/2 teaspoon brown or turbinado sugar, and a shot (1.5 ounces) of Irish whiskey.
But this find also makes for a sweet touch to regular coffee, as well as fancier coffees like flavored lattes, mochas, and even as a creamy touch on top of cold brew.
I also think it would be great as a finishing touch for another coffee cocktail—the Carajillo—which is basically coffee or cold brew and Licor 43, a liqueur with a citrus and vanilla flavor. This Irish crème whipped topping would take this cocktail to another level.
I also love using it to top hot fudge sundaes and as the garnish on top of a rich, thick chocolate shake.
I haven’t tried it yet, but I think this product would taste absolutely divine on homemade pudding. It would also be the perfect topping to an Irish cream cheesecake. Other Irish cream desserts I’ve seen (and coveted) include Irish cream tiramisu, pie, and cookies, and this dairy whipped topping would be a delicious addition to them, too.
Mostly, though, I’m using it on my morning coffee, and come St. Patrick’s Day, I’m going to use it again to make those delicious Irish coffees.
