Amajita beat Nigeria to reach Afcon U20 final!
Amajita will face Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) final after stunning Nigeria on Thursday night.

South Africa U20 team (Amajita) beat Nigeria 1-0 to reach the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) final.
Tylon Smith scored the only goal of the game to take Raymond Mdaka’s charges to the promised land.
Amajita have already qualified for the U20 FIFA World Cup following their progress to the semifinals last week.

AMAJITA REACH AFCON FINAL AFTER 28 YEARS
The win was historic in the sense that this is the first time in 28 years that Amajita will play in an Afcon final.
Amajita’s last Afcon final appearance was in 1997 which had players such as Matthew Booth, David Kannemeyer, Benni McCarthy and Junaid Hartley.
Ironically, that team faced Morocco in the final, and the current Amajita team will face the same opponents on 18 May.
Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 SA time.
The current crop has rising stars such as Mfundo Vilakazi, Emile Witbooi, and Patrick Autata among others.
