For their global league play, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted 12 cricketers no-objection certificates (NOCs). Some of the players are on Pakistan’s central contract, while others haven’t played for them in a while.

Amir and Shadab are among 12 PCB-approved league cricketers.

On July 5, Major League Cricket (MLC) will debut in the US with mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed, pacers Zaman Khan and Haris Rauf. Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali Agha, Shadab Khan, and Mohammad Hasnain (non-centrally contracted) will play in the Sri Lanka Premier League (LPL). Sharjeel Khan and Sohaib Maqsood, who haven’t played for Pakistan in a while, will play in the World Championship of Legends July 3-13.

Left-arm bowler Mohammad Amir will play County Cricket from July 4 to 20, explosive batsman Fakhar Zaman will participate in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) from August 29 to October 6, while wrist spinner Usama Mir will play in England’s The Hundred from July 23 to August 20.

The PCB limits centrally contracted players to two leagues. Azam Khan, a wicketkeeper batter, withdrew from LPL due to a lack of board approval. Azam played for LPL team B-Love Kandy, which will play Colombo Strikers on Tuesday.

Saim Ayub and Azam are also part of Guyana Warriors for the upcoming CPL 2024 but both are still to receive NOC from the PCB.
