Brrrrr-ace yourself! Another intense cold front set to hit Gauteng next week
Another cold front on the cards! Freezing temperatures will return to Gauteng and other provinces towards the end of next week.

A significant cold front is expected to move through Gauteng and several other provinces by the end of next week.
Early weather predictions for Gauteng, specifically Pretoria and Johannesburg, indicate a substantial drop in temperatures starting next Friday.
According to AccuWeather, Pretoria is forecasted to reach a high of 15°C, while Johannesburg will see a high of 13°C next weekend. This change in weather follows a week in which parts of the country experienced freezing conditions due to a cut-off low system.
Cold front to sweep through Gauteng
For the rest of the country, this coming weekend is expected to bring generally fine weather, with sunshine anticipated in many areas. Johannesburg is expected to enjoy clear and sunny skies on both Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures peaking in the low 20s. Expect chilly mornings; however, the weather is expected to improve as the day progresses in several provinces.
On Friday, Durban will experience heavy rainfall, but conditions are expected to improve by Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, Cape Town will see warm temperatures accompanied by cloudy and overcast conditions on Saturday, reaching a high of 21°C.
Headed into next week, a cold front could arrive Wednesday in the Cape, potentially dropping temperatures as low as 10°C. It may also bring some showers and thundershowers in some regions.
Will this be the coldest winter in years?
