‘Frustrated’ Kohli vent on ice box! WHY?

Fans and pundits have seen Virat Kohli’s rage during the second Test against New Zealand at Pune. The hitter was furious after Mitchell Santner dismissed him again in the second Test. In a popular video, the cricketer knocked the ice box near the stairs on his way back to the dressing room. The Kiwi spinner dismissed Kohli after 12 runs, and India lost the match by 113 runs and the series by 2-0 with one Test left.

Kohli fell to Santner in the first innings after scoring one run on nine balls. The star batsman failed to score a run on nine balls in the opening innings of the first Test. His 70 runs in the second innings helped him, but India lost the game and Kohli’s dismal streak continued in the second Test. The Indian team’s performance and Kohli’s aggressive style are being criticised by fans and analysts.

This is India’s first home Test series loss in 12 years, which is huge for supporters. The series winner was decided in the second Test, where India was bowled out for 245 runs in chase of New Zealand’s 359 runs on the third day. The Indians were reduced to 156 runs after the Kiwis scored 259 runs in their first innings. Home team lost first Test in Bengaluru by 8 wickets.
