Homemade baked beans tips
You can use fresh kidney beans, ready-made and canned beans too. The real magic happens with your homemade sauce and then baking them for a second time. The mustard and onions add some great flavour punch while the bacon is doing what bacon does best, add tons of salty flavour and well-rendered fat. Serve with eggs, more bacon, sausages and toast for a fully-loaded meal. You can also enjoy them with a toasted sandwhich.
